A cat, named Buzz the Fuzz, along with 39 German Shepherds, were rescued from two homes, where they were living in deplorable conditions. Investigators said the stench in the homes was so bad that it made their eyes water.
Now, Buzz the Fuzz is an ambassador for compassion and comfort as a therapy cat! When he was first rescued, his hair was so matted that he had to be shaved. He was starving, dehydrated, and had a broken tail. When Sandra, Buzz’s human, saw the picture that was posted of him, she felt an instant connection and knew she had to adopt him.
Sandra had a friend who passed away from brain cancer, and he had a cat visit him while he was in hospice. This gave her the idea to make Buzz the Fuzz a therapy cat. In the video below, you can see the kitty visiting residents at a nursing home, and lighting up their faces. He makes the perfect therapy cat, and is so relaxed and affectionate.
