This adorable kitty named Daisy has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a condition that occurs when the cerebellum, the part of the brain which controls fine motor skills and coordination, is not completely mature at birth.
This causes Daisy to wobble around when she walks, but she still isn’t much different from other cats. She was diagnosed with CH when she first came to Best Friends Kitten Nursey in Salt Lake City, Utah, when she was just 2.5 months old.
Having this condition certainly doesn’t slow Daisy down. She still walks around and plays and is a very happy kitty. It also didn’t stop her from getting adopted! The Geist family gave her a forever home, where she was loved despite her condition. And best of all? The Geist’s also adopted Daisy’s sister, Agatha!
There are many cats and dogs stuck in shelters all over the world. It’s hard for many animals to find homes, especially if there are two that are bonded and need to be adopted together. And it’s even more rare for an animal to be adopted with their sibling if they don’t need to be adopted together.
Luckily, for Daisy and Agatha, it didn’t take long for them to find a home. It’s so great that these two sisters got adopted together. Now they will get to grow up together and will always have each other. They also now have a loving family who will take such great care of them.
