They found Otter in a wood chipper with her siblings and mother. Unfortunately, her family did not make it after the machine was turned on.
After arriving at Bottle Babies Rescue, Otter was tube fed and bottle fed from the start. They paired her up with another kitten so that she would learn proper kitten behavior and have a companion. His name was Felix, and they bonded instantly.
Otter and Felix finally weaned, eating lots of food as their tiny bodies grew. They bonded so strongly that the rescue group decided they wanted them to go to a home together. They attended several adoption events with no luck before finding their perfect person who was in love at first sight!
“Through our work with neonate puppies and kittens as well as our nursing mothers and other rescue pets, we use a large amount of food. We have growing youngsters that benefited greatly from proper nutrition and our other rescue cases depend on food donations from GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank program to get in top shape to go to their forever homes.”
