When Ranger was found, he was living in a closet in a drug house. He was in such bad shape, the responding officer reported him as a dog carcass. When animal control arrived, it was discovered that Ranger was still alive, if only barely.
Helping Paws Animal Rescue took ranger to the vet for weeks of treatment. If it wasn’t for food donated by Rescue Bank through RescueBox, they would never have been able to shift funds from their food account to care for Ranger and special cases like him.
Now Ranger lives with his foster mom. He has made a full recovery thanks to the vet and the high-quality food donated from Rescue Bank. Apparently Ranger has taken over the mud room as his own. Every time he comes through the house, he picks up a dog toy and hides it in his room. He is happy, fat, and loving life.
