Rayne was found on the side of the road by a Good Samaritan in the pouring rain. The person was driving and looked out her window and saw a lifeless kitten on the edge of the road about to get run over, just moving her mouth, like she was trying to take her last breath. The Good Samaritan called Lady Luck Animal Rescue, and they had the person drop her off at the ER, where she was found to be hypothermic and anemic along with intestinal parasites.
Today, Rayne is in a foster home with other kitties. She is happy, friendly and loves her canned food donated from GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank program. She is waiting for her forever home.
“Rescue Bank has allowed us to free up money in more severe medical cases since we don’t have to spend as much money on high-quality food. This saves the rescue a lot of money, and we can save more animals.” – Lady Luck Animal Rescue
